Welcome to Tennis Players Network

January 2008 Newsletter

2008 is going to be a great year, don’t you agree?

It seems evident to me with RaceTrac offering every Tennis Player in Georgia Free Coffee (or any HOT beverage) and only through Tennis Players Network! This is very generous of them and we hope you take advantage of their desire to be involved with Tennis Players in Georgia! (I think your friends might like to know too) This WARM offer expires February 4th so print your coupon (you can print your coupon from this newsletter, it is below.) and put it in your tennis bag or car!

Okay – if that doesn’t make you see what a great year we are in for, what about the incredibly low-priced trips to International tennis events? The FedCup is in February and we have an unbelievable deal to go watch USA take on Germany in San Diego. The accommodations are at Paradise Point Resort in Mission Bay; right up the road from the tournament in La Jolla….I should save some more Joy for February, shouldn’t I?

Enjoy the newsletter; share it with all your tennis friends so they can stay warm, for free!!! (There are new columns on our site this month, so take that coffee and enjoy some Georgia Tennis Information)

Play hard and drive safely~

Mental Toughness (Starting Strong)

Troy Macisak Elite Fitness

The keys to getting a good start happen prior to taking the court. You need to be well rested, eat healthy meals, and have activity the day before to make for a good nights rest. Feel good about yourself by wearing clothes you feel confident and comfortable in. The process on picking out clothes should be done the night before. Make sure to wake up with plenty of time to get dressed, eat a smart meal that is light but will last through that match. The meal must be enjoyed. Make sure that you have enough time to get to a match 20-30 minutes before it starts. Your drive must be relaxing with the focus and excitement based on the fun you will have on the court. All of these elements will improve your match results prior to your arrival.

Kung Fu Tennis

Can anyone deny that Karate Black Belts and Kung Fu Masters are great athletes?

Can anyone deny that there is also something “more” to being a Black Belt or a Kung Fu Master?

It might be called an attitude or a state of mind, but these martial art masters all seem to have it.
